Question 1

How does the review system work?

Accepted Answer

Our unique review system hopes to create a more level playing field in the customer review process.
Only paying user members can post reviews, thus, if someone pays a yearly fee to take advantage of the benefits of the platform then they earn the ability to leave reviews. However, only positive reviews go live for public viewing. If a member visits a business listing and has a positive experience then they are encouraged to leave a positive review. The review doesn’t immediately go live but instead a notification is sent to the business who first gets to approve the review before allowing it to go live for all to see. Once a review is live then it becomes visible to all members and non-members alike.
If a member has a negative experience then they should be allowed to vent their frustrations. A review can be sent but it goes direct to the business and to a FFTHai representative, but, does not go live for public viewing. This should be treated as a learning experience for the businesses and, a chance to recognize, and address a potential weakness in their business practices.. Businesses will be encouraged to address the feedback, to better their service offering in the future. This could include, retraining of staff or changing business processes. It may even include reaching out to the consumer member in question to remedy his experience by owning up to the discrepancy and inviting them back for a chance of redemption. This could potentially turn a disgruntled customer into a brand ambassador.

If businesses receive negative reviews on a regular basis and seem unwilling to address the underlying issues associated with customer concerns then FFThai reserve the right to exit a business from the platform if minimum quality of service standards are not being met.
